On Tuesday April 30th 2002, Boeing 707T/T (MM62148, coded 14-01, 14° Stormo, 8° Gruppo, Practica di Mare) was planned for an Air-to-Air-Refeuling mission during the exercise TLP02-2. The tanker was based at Eindhoven Air Base for 5 days to fly 2 missions, on Tuesday and Thursday.

	The flight of April 30th 2002 The take-off from Eindhoven took place from the civil platform, due to the closure of the military platform on April 30th. 5 aircraft were refuelled overhead southern Belgium. The flight of May 2nd 2002 On May 2nd, a team from Sentry Aviation News was onboard of the plane. While circling in the Rosy track above Germany, all TLP missions were cancelled due to the crash of an Italian F-104 at Leeuwarden. To burn fuel, 2 overshoots at Bremen airport were made. The flight of May 2nd 2002

On May 2nd, a team from Sentry Aviation News was onboard of the plane. While circling in the Rosy track above Germany, all TLP missions were cancelled due to the crash of an Italian F-104 at Leeuwarden. To burn fuel, 2 overshoots at Bremen airport were made.
