On December 07 1998, we ware able to make a flight with a KDC-10 from the Dutch Air Force. Unfortunately, during the 2.5 hour refueling flight, only 1 RAF E-3 was refueled. For more than 1.5 hour only the wingtips from the E-3 were visible :-(. During this flight a number of oval circuits were flown above the Waddenzee. Between Leeuwarden, Ameland, Texel and Den Helder.
