The F-14 Tomcat
This cruise was the last one with 2 F-14 squadrons onboard (VF-11 Red Rippers and VF-143 Pukin'dogs), due to the nearby retirement of the Tomcat. All future US Navy carrier cruises will have only 1 Tomcat squadron and soon the last operational F-14 cruise will be made onboard of a carrier.
